DoE: Early Valkyrie Concept

Alrighty, more Dragons of Elanthia concept art, but this time it's character concepts for the Valkyrie rider. There's a transition from a lot of leather armor because her character originally grew out of a concept for a barbarian character and it gradually moved from more of a viking into a deity of sorts.

You can also see a little bit of my character design process at work, starting from little 1 inch. marker thumbnails to explore the shape of the character before I start throwing around color. With these I went right from thumbnails to color because our characters are often pretty small on screen so having big shapes with broad shapes of color helps in being able to distinguish them.
